Bluecore Energy partnered with the Port of Long Beach to establish the first small modular reactor collaboration involving a U.S. port, exploring how advanced nuclear energy could support ports and other critical infrastructure. Shotwell Studio partnered with the Blue Core team to shape and produce the story surrounding the announcement. We developed the narrative approach, led on-location video production, captured executive interviews and the signing event, and delivered both a same-day announcement and a longer-form film designed to communicate the significance of the partnership. Our approach was to provide seamless experience for Bluecore's Team as they arrived from LA to DC. That involved quick discovery, storyboarding, and logistics. This allowed us to to translate a complex energy initiative into clear, human story centered on reliability, infrastructure, and the collaboration required to bring emerging technology into the real world.
